    Symptom

    Troubleshooting

    Repair

    Cannot turn on.

    Cannot charge properly.

Check the connection status between the cradle and battery pack or between main body and battery pack.

    Foreign debris may cause the

    power off or charging problem

    at USB slot.

Clean the charging port and use again

    Clean USB slot

Button input is not possible during the usage

Check the power switch has been moved to “Hold” mode.

Re-assemble the battery pack and turn on the power

    If malfunction continues,

    contact local distributor or

    manufacturer

Heat comes out during the usage

Lot of current is needed to run

    this product, so heat comes

out after long time of usage.

    This symptom does not affect

    the lifespan or quality.

    Normal

    Light intensity is weak after

    the change of battery pack

Check the intensity step is properly adjusted.

    Change the intensity step

    properly

    Battery discharging time is fast

Check if battery has been fully charged.

    (Check the battery status LED)

Battery pack is expendables, so the lifespan will be shorter than the first-time purchase after certain period of time.

If the discharging time is fast even fully charged status, it means the battery lifespan has been dead. We recommend exchanging new battery pack.

    LED light flickers sometimes

    or intermittently

    Check the contact looseness

    of connection part of phone

    jack

    Contact local distributor or

    manufacturer

    Wifi connection is bad

Download WiFi Analyzer application or other proper surveillance program to find out less traffic channel to change LooksCAM wifi.

Not occupied channel or less traffic channel to change LooksCAM wifi. (Refer to page 22)

DC power supply is always green color on indicator

It is normal to show green light on DC power supply as it shows the power ON.

    Item

    Symptoms

    Cause or problem

    Solution

    LC-CU

    LooksCAM power cannot turn on

    Battery is NOT fully charged

Use another battery or charge the battery to try again

Check charging pins (located on the backside of control unit) are damaged

See from the side way or front side to judge if charging pins are damaged or twisted. If they are damaged or twisted, it should be sent back to Xenosys factory to be repaired

    Cables (LC-HA) are not properly

    Inserted

Try to insert or connect all cables properly inserted and try to turn on LooksCAM again

SD card is missing or NOT properly inserted

Insert proper SD card (Class 10, MLC type, 32 GB – specification required) and try again

Control unit buttons are not working

Check the position of “Hold” button

Move away from “Hold” position to work properly

Check the control unit and battery is properly assembled

Detach the battery pack from the control unit and re-assemble the control unit and battery pack to turn on again

    Rebooting

Check control unit and battery is properly assembled

Detach the battery pack from the control unit and re-assemble the control unit and battery pack to turn on again

Check LC-HA all jacks and cables are properly inserted to control unit

Pull out all cables and insert all cables to each jack port properly and try to turn on control unit again

Charging pins (located on the backside of control unit) are damaged

See from the side way or front side to judge if charging pins are damaged or twisted. If they are damaged or twisted, it should be sent back to Xenosys factory to be repaired

    Firmware check

Check the firmware is the most recent one – 20160705 and try the firmware update

Heat comes out during the usage

Heat comes mostly from the control unit and conveyed to battery pack

As lots of current need to run the control unit of LooksCAM and most of heat comes from control unit and conveyed to battery pack. The heat is 45 degree and human felt if the temperature is more than body temperature. It is NORMAT when heat comes out after long time of usage, so if the customer felt uncomfortable, we recommend using with wrapping up with sponge or other bands to cover.

    LC-HA

    Integrated pin is damaged

While plug in or out, hard pull in or out may cause the damage of integrated cable

Ask your local distributor to change the integrated cable – if the pin or jack is stuck in the hole of control unit, it should be sent back to Xenosys factory to be repaired

    Light is flickering

Check all cables are properly inserted and connected

If all cables connection is well, then we should check the cable wire connection which needs to be sent back to Xenosys factory

    Light intensity is weak

Check the light intensity is low level

If the light intensity is still low even the highest level, then change the battery pack to try again. Still same problem occurred

    LC-RC

    Remote control is not working

Check AAA battery status on the backside of remote controller

Change AAA batteries and try again. Second step, try to verify if the control unit or remote controller are exchanged, if so, try the pairing process (Refer to manual page 13) If it’s still not working, then it should be sent back to Xenosys factory

    LC-CH

    Charging is not completed

Check the charging pins (located on the backside of charger) are damaged

See from the side way or front side to judge if charging pins are damaged or twisted. If they are damaged or twisted, it should be sent back to Xenosys factory to be repaired

Charging is not completed – all red light

Check the charging pins (located on the backside of charger) are damaged or battery is properly assembled

Try to check charging pins are damaged or twisted. Then try to reassemble the battery pack. If it’s still not working, then try with another battery pack. If all 3 steps are NOT working, then it should be sent back to Xenosys factory

    LC-BTP

    Battery is not getting charged

    Check the assembling status

Try to reassemble the battery pack and charger

    Battery is not getting charged

Try to charge the battery pack

Try with another battery and if battery is NOT getting charged, it should be sent back to Xenosys factory to be checked up

Battery discharging time is too fast

Check if battery has been fully charged (Check the battery status LED).

If the discharging time is fast even fully charged status, it means the battery lifespan has been dead. We recommend exchanging new battery pack as battery pack is expendables, so the lifespan will be shorter than the first-time purchase after certain period of time
